Nothing, may particularly be strange with books, but, it’s certain that the content of books differ, so also, the style of writing from one author to another.

The Pretty “Aunty Gbeke” lays to rest at Odejimi




Growing up, I thought my sister was the most beautiful woman on the face of the earth. Yes! she resembled our mother, but, she was the prettier version of mother. My fond memories of those years gone by were really those of many days of vacation spent with her at her different places of abode”. According to Mrs. Taiye Olubuyide.
 
This was the description of Late Mrs. Gbekeloluwa Abosede Christiana Bakare, by her sister and a worthy sibling who flew in from America to witness passage of rites to her “prettier version of her mother” and to actively participate in the ceremony.
The late Mrs. Gbekeloluwa Abosede Christiana Bakare was born in June 20, 1940, she was the first born of her parents Late Pa. Benjamin Odejimi and Late Madam Felicia Adejoke (nee Adewusi) of Ibogun Odejimi, Ifo Local Government of Ogun State.
She started her education at E.A.C Primary School, Ibogun Odejimi, thereafter she completed and passed her Secondary School Certificate Examination. She worked several sales and administrative jobs after leaving secondary school but she always had business on her mind.
She was loving and compassionate, full of dignity and beauty. Her stylish approach to life made her entered in to a beauty pageant which she won, made her quite glamorous and fashion conscious.

 She got married in 1964 to Alhaji Musbaudeen Adebola Bakare, they were blessed with four (4) girls and two (2) boys. YETUNDE COMFORT GREEN, ADERENLE NURAINI BAKARE, IYABODE OYEBANJO, ADETUTU BABATUNDE, OLUWAKEMI BAKARE,


She was a strong business woman, traveling from state to state to buy goods and sell.
She was a true and faithful member of the Christ Apostolic Church (C.A.C.). 
She was a woman of faith and charity, she believed in helping people who are less fortunate than herself. She was a woman of substance, very fashionable, very caring, loving, and was adored by her family and friends. She loved the Lord and was very prayerful, she had her rosary by her sick bed.
The late Mrs. Gbekeloluwa Abosede Christiana Bakare died on the 4th of March 2016 at her matrimonial home. She was aged 76 years, as it pleased God, and she went to rest. She was buried at Ibogun Odejimi after a Funeral Service at Emmanuel Ang. Church, Odejimi and the interment within the church premises.




She is survived by children, grandchildren, sisters, brothers, son in law, daughter in law, and families. May the almighty God receive her soul, grant her eternal rest. Amen

Babatunde Adesina becomes new Olootu...



The re-known Public Relation Guru, His Royal Highness Olufemi Adewunmi Ogunleye, The Towulade Akinale celebrated  10years Anniversary at the Palace ground of Akinale on Thursday, 31st March, 2016. Your reign has witnessed monumental developments and you have added value to the heritage of your forefathers.


The coronation was events packed with the turning of sod of a new palace under the chairmanship of Justice Dehinde Shoremi and Chieftaincy Conferment on many important personalities. The title of Olootu of Akinale, Owu was conferred on our brother and member, Mr Babatunde Adesina the Secretary of Almond Tree Section, of Abeokuta Sports Club 1904, and the son of Prince Kunle Adesina a past President and Trustee of Country Club of Lagos. Congratulations, we were part of the epoch ceremony and the lavish entertainment of guests. style.

Barrister Yomi Omoyinmi buries mum...



















 The wife of the late socialite and lawyer, the popular Barr. Chief Jonathan Akinlolu Omoyinmi of Owu kingdom, Abeokuta was buried in the rockcity on the 18th, March 2016. Late Chief (Mrs) Mercy Oyebimpe Adebola OMOYINMI was finally laid to rest with a church service at Owu Baptist church, Abeokuta, attended by Sen. Ibikunle Amosun, Governor of Ogun State and other dignitaries.
Other programmes of the Funeral Ceremony were; Commendation Service, Christian Wake, and Interment at Church Cemetery.
The journey continued with an entertainment galore at Abeokuta Sports Club Field. The who is who from all fields of life, both home and abroad were in attendance to join the family in celebrating the late great jewel. The Adedoyin family and the entire Omoyinmi families had a huge showing in the passage of rites of a dear mummy and grandmummy.
